HAHAHA this is embarresing

I was so full of sexual shame at this moment. 

I feel sorry for this kid. 

I thought that every time I thought someone was hot, that I was sinning. I tried to stop BIOLOGY. 

One of the reasons the church covers up sexual assault and abuse is because of the verse that equates LUST with ADULTURY. 

If Lust = Sex, if Thinking is the same (in the eyes of god) as Doing, 

then when a youth pastor assaults a child, he can just repent and god will forgive.

It's the same thing (in the eyes of god) as if he fantasized about it at home. 

BUT IT IS WORSE TO DO THINGS IN REAL LIFE.

porn ADDICTION is a bit hard to define. I wouldnt consider myself an addict in any point of my life. I just dont think that self pleasure is bad. Sometimes its good to cut back, but jeezz the amout of problems the church has caused because of shame teaching around sex is so grosssss

OG TITLE - A Thought spurred on by Cross Con 2015

Cross Con 2015 was a live simulcast about missions, held on the evening of February twenty-seventh.  It was very convicting. God used it to open my heart to the possibility of someday becoming a missionary. 

There was a "rapid-fire" session where the speakers gave 15 minute speeches that practically dealt with ability to be a missionary. Pastor Kevin DeYoung's speech is still pressing on me. I'll put the link in at the end. 

"Estimates say that ninety percent of young men, thirty percent of young women are enmeshed, tangled in the snare of pornography." 

There needs to be a war on porn. It is a snare that will not easily let go, I know from experience how hard this battle is. It is a liar, saying "I will make you happy" but never fully satisfying. It is like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute. Fun, till you hit the bottom. There are many books and resources to help people get out, but Pornography can only be stopped by Christ's work in a person's heart. 

But, we all (Christians) know that porn is wrong, I'm not going to go into all that. 

So then, There are 4 categories. 

a. 90% of young "men" watching Porn

b. 10% of young men NOT watching Porn

c. 30% of young "women" watching Porn

d. 70% of young women NOT watching Porn

Lets say that everybody got married today. Seventy percent of  young women(no porn) only have ten percent of Young men(no Porn) to marry. This means that 60% of young women who do not watch porn will be married to a young "man" who does watch porn!  

I feel so bad for those young ladies who are in
